ANTIQUE STERLING BASKET ROSES VIOLETS BLUE GUILLOCHE ENAMEL DRESSER SET

Description

This is a wonderful marked sterling and has a makers hallmark hand mirror, brush, comb and powder jar from a high end local estate. The powder box is 5 1/4" by 2 1/2" and features a glass base with floral etched design. The hand mirror is 13 1/4" by 5 1/2" and when you tilt the enameling to just the correct angle in direct light you can see a few super short scratches on left side. These are very hard to see an not worth noting. See my closeup of these scratches. The mirror has a 3/8" wide slight cloudy spot on top left and a few short scratches. The brush is 10" by 3 1/4" and the brush bristles has normal wear and the wood form the brush bristles are attached to has a few light white paint nicks not worth noting. The comb is 8" and the frame has enamel on both sides. You will want to replace the plastic or celluloid comb as it has teeth loss. I see no enamel damage to any item in this set. I put the items out in direct sunlight for photos for you can see the great condition of the enamel. The set has decades of old tarnish some folks love. This is a fabulous set in well cared for condition. Thanks for looking.
