Dallas Texans the first team franchise in NFL in Texas and their first and only year in Dallas as they moved in1953 to the Baltimore Colts new and storied franchise in the NFL!!
There were some exhibition games played in Dallas over the years but this was the first franchise team in Texas that was from Texas
!!
The Texans won only one game their first year but they brought a few players that help build the Baltimore Colts and turn it almost immediately into a powerhouse team in the league!
